Implemented Wishes

This is the List of items from the list of feature requests which are already implemented.

The three categories stand for:
a) Profile: Feature Requests, which are on the wishlist or have not yet been done, but seem important, and can be used for PR. What can set Phex apart.
b) Backend: All those parts which improve the general inner workings of Phex. The harsh reality behind the Look and Feel (the GUI).
c) GUI and Polish: In contrast to the backend, this is about all those things, which improve the feeling of the user interface and the usability for the user, often without offering significant "objective" advantages (else than maybe a few clicks less work), but often make the difference in the first choice of programs.
d) Other: There are always things, which defy cathegorisation.

Profile
- magma
- A system wide filter (by Tom, done: gregor)
- The ability to save common user defined filters and be able to apply them directly in the filter menu/area. The ability to save the current filter. (by Tom, done: gregor)
Backend
- 24/7, recognize network restarts and outages (done: gregor)

- A system wide filter, in the Settings. For instance, I want to be able to filter out any result which has 'ebook' in it, whenever I search, without having to put in a temporary filter in the Search tab. This should also be able to filter (out) strings. (by clampak, done: gregor)
GUI and Polish
- A configurable standard-filter and a filter with which I can exclude results containing certain phrases (like the "exclude" for the share). (done: gregor)
- Maybe the developers of Phex could add a way to filter with strings not just keywords. like instead of "desperate" and "housewives" we could use "desperate housewives." (by miscblogger, done: gregor)
- Ability to disable GUI (by pawelsz).(See Advanced Questions for a description how to disable the GUI)

- Automatically refresh the display in the 'Search' window after banning hosts.
- In the search tab, the ability to limit search to ALL keywords, not just one and/or the other. (only via filter, still protocol restrictions -Arne)(possible with the advanced search filters)
- Ability to filter out certain file sizes. For instance, all those bogus files with size of 872,159 which take up a quarter of my search results. (done: gregor)
- A customizable offensive content filter, which would be separate from the above filters. (done via rules, just duplicate the adult-file-filter: gregor)
- Customizable 'ban hosts' on right-click in the Search tab. Why should I have to go to the Security tab to redefine the ban? (by gregork)
- When 'browsing hosts', it would be good to be able to tell if the host is unbrowsable, so I don't waste my time trying. (done by new info-strings while browsing. Only hosts which advertise themselves as browseable have the browse button active: gregor)

- This is a low priority for me but, could Phex be skinable? (partly done by gregork through Icon Packs)
- I would like to be able to right-click an item to download and be able to select "download to" and be able to specify where that download would be put when completed. This would allow me to specify to put every downloaded file into different directory if I choose to.

Other
- For magnet/Magma/rss/PodCast:
- Recognize magma-lists, when they are given as magnet or URL-download. (done: bab)
- Recognize the as-parameter as acceptable source (done: bab)
- Start a search for the file-name of the magnet, if the given sources fail or none are avaible. (done: gregork)
- Subscriptions to Magma/rss/PodCast (to feeds), recheck them every 48 hours, download only files not already in the share (done: bab).
