The download screen is used to view the progress of ongoing downloads.

Download Files

The upper part of the download screen shows a table with information about the the files beeing downloaded.

Your incomplete download files will be stored in the specified incomplete folder and the finished downloads will be stored in the specified completed folder (Settings > Options > Download/Sharing Settings > Directories).

Columns

  • File
    Displays the file name of the download.
  • %
    Displays the progress of the transfer.
  • Size
    Displays the downloaded and total size of the file.
  • Rate
    Displys the current download transfer average.
  • ETA
    Displays the estimate time left until the completion of the download.
  • # Candidates
    Displays the number of downloading/queued/total candidates.
  • Status
    Displays the status of the download. Possible status are:
    • Waiting
      Indicates the download has not connected to any active sources yet.
    • Queued
      Indicates the file is queued and transferrs might start soon.
    • Downloading
      Indicates the file is beeing transferred.
    • Completed
      Indicates the file was successfully downloaded.
    • Stopped
      Indicates the download was stopped by the user or by an error.
  • Priority
    Displays the order in which files will download.
  • Search Term
    Displays the search term that is used when the user tiggers a search for more candidates.
  • Created
    The date the download was initially created.
  • Downloaded
    The date of the last transfer.
  • SHA1
    The unique hash of the file.

Functionalities

  • Start
    Starts and continues a stopped download.
  • Stop
    Stops a running download.
  • Remove
    Removes a download and all downloaded data.
  • Configure
    Allows you to change the download file name (download must be stopped) and to change the search term used when searching for more candidates (see Search).
  • Search
    Triggers a search for more download candidates.
  • Download Speed
    Allows you to change the maximum download speed used for the selected download.
  • Priority
    Changes the priority of the download.
  • Download Strategy
    Read the Download Strategy article for a detailed descriptions how the different strategies work.
  • Preview
    Shows a preview of the downloaded file if enough data is available.

Download Overview

The download overview gives a detailed overview of the download. You are able to see which parts of the file was already transferred and you can see various download statistics about the download file, the transfer and the candidates.

Download Transfers

Columns

  • Host
    Displays the host address of the transfer source.
  • Vendor
    Displays the name of the software that host is using.
  • From
    Displays the start position in the download file of this transfer.
  • To
    Displays the end position in the download file of this transfer.
  • Size
    Displays the total size of data to be transferred.
  • Completed
    Displays the amount of data already downloaded of this transfer.
  • Progress
    Displays the progress of this transfer.
  • Rate
    Displys the current download transfer speed of this host.
  • ETA
    Displays the estimate time left until the completion of this transfer.
  • Status
    Refer to the Download Candidates columns for a description of the status.

Download Candidates

Columns

  • Host
    Displays the host address of the candidate.
  • Vendor
    Displays the name of the software that host is using.
  • Available
    Displys the parts of the download file this candidate has available for download.
  • Download Total
    Displys the total amount of data transferred from this candidate.
  • Rate
    Displys the current download transfer speed of this candidate.
  • Status
    Displays the status of this candidate. Possible status are:
    • Downloading
    • Queued
    • Requesting
    • Connecting
    • Push Requesting
    • Range Unavailable
    • Busy
    • Connection Failed
    • Waiting
    • Bad
    • Ignored
