Today the Phex development group is happy to announce the release of Phex 3.4.2.
This is a minor release, yet it contains some tasty improvements.
The changes since Phex 3.4.0 are:
- Less wait time for the first connections,
- Strong leafs become Ultrapeers,
- Automatic reconnect on network failure.
And a few squashed bugs.
But even though Phex made good progress, we want it to evolve even faster, and
so we're searching for additional developers who want to join us in development.

Today the Phex development group is happy to announce the release of Phex 3.4.
Since the last release the core of Phex received many improvements.
The most notable changes are:
- Much faster searches through a UDP rewrite,
- Secure signed update checks, so noone can fool your Phex into trusting a false update,
- And last but not least quite many squashed bugs.
Also Phex is now being built with maven, so dependencies on external libraries have become far easier to manage.
But even though Phex made good progress, we want it to evolve even faster, and
so we're searching for additional developers who want to join us in development.

The Phex Development Group just released Version 3.2.2 of the Phex filesharing program.
The Changes at a glance
- Improved networking thread usage.
- New translations: Spanish, Mexican Spanish and Brasilian Portugese.
- New Filter: Hide nasty files.
- Heavy restructuring of the code on the way to a stronger API.
Changes in our team
Two translators joined the Phex development during the past year (welcome Felipe and LuisC-SM!) and we got some nice patches.
And while Phex is making good progress, we want Phex to evolve even faster, and so we're searching for additional developers who want to join us in development.

After almost 5 months of constant development Phex now reached its next release.
The GUI received many smaller improvements and a multitude of lesser and bigger
changes happened under the hood.
The most notable changes are:
- Download-side THEX integration, so poisoned files are a thing of the
past.
- A major redesign of the upload architecture and far leaner security
system for better performance and a vastly reduced memory footprint.
- And last but not least quite many squashed bugs.
But even though Phex made good progress, we want Phex to evolve even faster, and
so we're searching for additional developers who want to join us in development. |
